Independent product — not a government application
Invoice Maker is an independent software product published by Roxiler Systems Private Limited. It is not a government application and does not represent any government entity. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, certified by, authorised by, or connected to the Government of India, the GST Council, the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN), the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), any State Commercial Tax Department, or any other government body or official.
The app does not provide government services and does not act as an intermediary with any government system. In particular, the app does not:
- register a business for GST or any other tax;
- file GST returns or any other statutory return;
- verify, validate, or look up a GSTIN or any other detail against government records;
- generate an Invoice Reference Number (IRN), e-invoice, or e-way bill, or transmit any information to a government portal;
- collect, remit, or process any payment of tax to any authority.
The app arranges the information that you enter into an invoice layout and performs arithmetic on the values you supply. Tax rates, HSN and SAC codes, state codes, and all other tax particulars are entered or selected by you. Any such information presented in the app is offered only as a convenience, is not official government information, is not guaranteed to be current or complete, and must be checked against the official sources below before you rely on it.

1. Introduction
Invoice Maker is a mobile application that helps businesses and professionals create, manage, and share invoices. Invoice Maker is owned and operated by Roxiler Systems Private Limited ("Roxiler", "we", "our", or "us").
This Privacy Policy explains what information the app stores on your device, how advertising in the app works, and how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information. By downloading, installing, or using Invoice Maker, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. How the App Stores Your Data
In this release, Invoice Maker works entirely on your device. There is no account, no sign-up, and no server that holds your invoices.
Your invoices and business records are stored only in the app’s local storage. We do not receive them and cannot view, access, or recover them.
What this means in practice:
- The app works fully offline. No internet connection is needed to create or share an invoice.
- No sign-up is required, and we do not ask you to create an account.
- Your invoices, customers, and item records are never uploaded to us.
- Because the data lives on your device, you are responsible for keeping backups. If you uninstall the app, reset your device, or lose your device, the data stored in the app is lost and cannot be recovered by us.
- An optional Cloud Sync feature is planned for a future release. It will require an account and a paid plan, and it will be entirely your choice to enable it (see Section 5).
3. Business Information You Enter in the App
The following information is created by you and stored locally on your device. It is not transmitted to us, and it is never shared with advertisers:
Business Profile
- Business or trade name
- Business address
- GSTIN and other tax registration details
- PAN or other identifiers you choose to enter
- Contact phone number and email address
- Business logo and signature image
- Bank account or UPI details you add for payment instructions
Customer and Supplier Records
- Name and business name
- Billing and shipping address
- GSTIN and place of supply
- Phone number and email address
- Opening balances and payment history
Invoicing and Business Records
- Invoices, estimates, quotations, credit notes, and delivery challans
- Items or services, units, prices, HSN or SAC codes, and tax rates
- Payments received, outstanding balances, and expenses
- Notes, terms, and attachments or images you add to a record
- App preferences such as invoice numbering, templates, currency, and tax settings
You retain ownership of this information at all times.
4. Advertising and the Advertising ID
The app is free to use and is intended to be supported by advertising. This release is configured to use the Android Advertising ID, although advertisements are not being displayed yet.
We want to be clear about this in advance, because the advertising identifier is present in the app from this release onward:
- The app includes a third-party advertising service (Google AdMob) and declares the Android Advertising ID (AD_ID) permission.
- Advertisements will begin to appear once our advertising account is approved. We will not need a new app update for that to happen, which is why this Policy describes advertising now.
When advertising is active, our advertising partner may collect and process:
- The Android Advertising ID of your device
- IP address, and approximate location derived from it
- Device model, operating system version, language, and app version
- Ad interaction data, such as which advertisements were shown, viewed, or tapped, and related measurement and fraud-prevention signals
This information is used to deliver and measure advertisements, to limit repetition, and to detect invalid activity. It is processed by the advertising partner under its own privacy policy:
- Google Privacy Policy — https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses information from apps that use its services — https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Your invoices, customers, business details, and any other content you create in the app are never shared with advertisers or used to target advertisements. That information stays on your device, where advertising services have no access to it.
You can control advertising on your device:
- On Android, open Settings, then Privacy or Google services, then Ads, where you can delete or reset your Advertising ID and opt out of personalised advertising.
- On iOS, open Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking, and turn off tracking permission for the app.
Opting out does not remove advertisements; it makes them less personalised.
5. Cloud Sync (Planned Feature)
Cloud Sync is not available in this release. Nothing you enter in the app is uploaded to us today.
We intend to offer an optional Cloud Sync and backup feature in a future release, so that you can back up your records and use them across more than one device. When that feature becomes available:
- It will be strictly opt-in. Your data will not be uploaded unless you turn sync on.
- It will require an account, for which we would collect your name, email address or phone number, an encrypted (hashed) password or a Google or Apple sign-in identifier, and your plan and renewal status.
- It will be offered as a paid plan.
- Data would be transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in encrypted form at rest, in your own account space.
- You would be able to turn sync off, delete your cloud copy, and delete your account at any time.
- This Privacy Policy will be updated before the feature is released, and you will be asked to review and accept the applicable terms before any data leaves your device.
6. Other Information We Collect
Diagnostic and Crash Information
If the app stops responding or crashes, we may receive a technical report to help us fix the problem. Such a report may include your device model and manufacturer, operating system version, app version, and anonymised crash logs and error traces.
Anonymous Usage Statistics
We may collect aggregated, anonymous information about which app features are used, so that we can improve the app. These statistics do not include the contents of your invoices or customer records.
Support Communications
If you contact us for support or send feedback, we receive your email address or phone number along with whatever information you choose to include in your message, such as screenshots or exported files.
Purchase and Billing Information
This release is free and contains no purchases. If paid plans are introduced with Cloud Sync, they will be sold through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Those stores would process your payment and send us confirmation of your purchase, your plan, and its renewal status. We would not receive or store your card, bank, or UPI credentials.
7. Device Permissions
The app requests device permissions only to provide specific features. You may grant or revoke each permission at any time in your device settings:
- Storage and files — to save or export invoice PDFs and backup files, and to attach documents to a record.
- Camera — to capture your business logo, signature, or a receipt image, where you choose to do so.
- Photos and media — to let you select an existing image from your gallery.
- Contacts — optional, and only to let you import a customer’s details into the app. Your contacts are not uploaded to us.
- Notifications — to show reminders you set up, such as payment due alerts.
- Network access — to display advertisements, check for updates, and deliver support content. Your invoices and customer records are not sent over the network.
Declining a permission only disables the related feature; the rest of the app continues to work.
8. No Sale of Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or business data.
We do not use your invoices, customers, or other business records for advertising, and we do not use them to develop, improve, or train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Advertising in the app is described in Section 4.
9. When You Share an Invoice
The app lets you share or export an invoice, for example as a PDF, by email, by a messaging app, by printing it, or by saving it to your device.
When you do this, the information travels through the app or service you select. That service’s own privacy policy and terms apply to it, and we have no control over how it handles the file. Please choose where you send your invoices with care.
10. Sharing of Information
We share information only with trusted third-party service providers, as necessary to operate and support the app, including:
- Advertising partners (Google AdMob), as described in Section 4
- App distribution platforms (Google Play and the Apple App Store)
- Crash reporting and analytics providers
- Cloud hosting, authentication, and payment providers, if and when Cloud Sync and paid plans are introduced
- Government or regulatory authorities, when disclosure is legally required
The app does not connect to, submit to, or exchange information with the GST portal, the e-invoice or e-way bill systems, or any other government portal. Nothing you enter in the app is reported to a tax authority by us.
These providers process information on our behalf, under contract, and are permitted to use it only to provide their service to us. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
11. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal information only where we have a valid legal basis to do so under applicable laws. Depending on your location, these legal bases may include:
- Performance of a contract with you, to provide the app
- Compliance with applicable legal, tax, and accounting obligations
- Our legitimate business interests, such as maintaining, securing, and improving the app, provided those interests do not override your rights and freedoms
- Your consent, where required by applicable law
12. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards to protect your information, including:
Because your records are held only on your device, their security depends largely on the security of the device itself. We recommend that you:
- Protect your device with a screen lock, PIN, or biometric authentication.
- Enable any in-app lock offered by the app.
- Keep your device operating system and the app updated.
- Take regular backups and store them somewhere safe.
- Avoid installing the app on a shared, rooted, or jailbroken device.
On our side, we apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards to the limited information we receive, including encryption in transit, access controls, and activity logging. The same safeguards, together with encryption at rest and separation of each account’s data, will apply to Cloud Sync when it is released.
Although we strive to protect your information, no system can guarantee absolute security.
13. Data Retention and Deletion
On your device. Data stored on your device is retained for as long as you keep it. You can edit or delete any record at any time within the app, and uninstalling the app removes the data it stores on the device.
Advertising data. Information collected by our advertising partner is retained by that partner under its own policies, which are linked in Section 4.
Everything else. Diagnostic reports, anonymous usage statistics, and support correspondence are retained only for as long as needed for the purpose described in this Policy, or as required by law.
In the cloud. When Cloud Sync is released, synced data will be retained while your account remains active and deleted within a reasonable period after you delete your cloud copy or close your account.
14. Your Rights and Choices
You remain in control of your information. Subject to applicable laws, you may:
- View, correct, or delete any record directly within the app.
- Export your data, where the app provides an export or backup option.
- Remove all locally stored data by deleting it in the app or uninstalling the app.
- Grant or revoke any device permission in your device settings.
- Reset or delete your Advertising ID, and opt out of personalised advertising, in your device settings.
- Opt out of anonymous usage statistics, where the app provides that setting.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and request a copy of it in a portable form.
- Withdraw your consent where our processing is based on consent.
- Object to or request restriction of certain processing activities, where permitted by applicable law.
Requests may be submitted using the contact information below.
15. Children’s Privacy
Invoice Maker is intended for use by businesses, professionals, and individuals who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 18 without appropriate authorisation, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information as soon as practicable. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details provided in this Privacy Policy.
16. International Data Transfers
Your information may be stored, processed, or transferred in India or in other countries where Roxiler Systems Private Limited or its trusted service providers operate. We take reasonable measures to protect your information during such transfers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
17. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
The updated version will be published with a revised effective date on our app store listing and website. Where a change materially affects how your information is handled, we will provide notice in the app or seek your consent, as required by applicable law.
